Koniloes
Portuguese comedy band created in 2002 and extinguished soon after. We really sounded horrible, but we cried laughing while doing it. And besides, that was the whole point.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In the beginning there were four guys (Koninho, Konão, Konas & Kona-Mor, myself).
With the aid of some good friends we just wrote some really nasty stuff for a few months. We would sing it in public and make people flee.
And then it light was made. We COULD record it! Those were rolling on the floor laughing sessions. I'm serious.
But then we split - you know, solo career stuff, and so a great band was lost.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Unfortunately we don't do anything anymore.
Your musical influences
We must mention Ena Pá 2000 and Cebola Mol. Oh and the portuguese dictator António de Oliveira Salazar, there is even a track dedicated to him.
