Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Kobold is the creative collaboration of Cody Cast and Mike Heighway. The project manifested itself in early 2003 when the two decided to experiment with writing music together. A few sound files were exchanged and their first track "Human Cages" was created.
The two share a mutual interest in visual art, ranging from film to sculpture, paintings to photography and various combinations of the above.
Their interest in music spans a similar spectrum.
The goal is to create music that inspires, as it is inspiration that drives the sound.
