Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
With his unique writing and vocal abilities, along with his hot beats, Knotch is guaranteed to catch everyone by ear. Inspired by artists such as Musiq Soulchild, Toni Tony Tone, and Stevie Wonder, he feels he combines all their styles in one. Producing since the age of 12, his beats are one of a kind. Music has been in his life ever since he was born, and at the age of 19, Knotch has adopted a versatile style of production to accompany his RnB lyrics. With Motion as one of his production partners, he feels they are a dynamic duo. Having four brothers, with talents of their own, he feels he’s found his niche in the Hip Hop industry. When asked “What does Knotch want people to think about his music?”, his response was, "I want people to see my music as the anti virus for this wack music being put out on the radio and in record storesmusic is [supposed] to be precious not all beat up and bruised like some are doing out there now." His motto is “Just when u thought I reached the top, I turn it up a Knotch.”
