The Knackered Chef is the nom de guerre of The Crane from Tzanda... it's an alias normally employed for his more raucous, breaky efforts, but due to The Way Of Things, some of his more mellowtronic work (which is normally filed under the name Zouch de la Laundes) appears here as well. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played a couple of live sets of dancefloor material directly from Buzz.. it's good fun, and gives me an arousing sensation of power.
Your musical influences
Most Knackered Chef stuff is inspired by garage, electro and booty bass, with heavy doses of hip hop and glitchy moments.
What equipment do you use?
I use nothing but software - Buzz and Acid in unequal proportions.
