I have been making music for a long time...since i was 11 maybe (I'm now 22) I don't like genres or sticking to one style and love the confusion of one off bands just to mess with folk. I recently got a 4track made in the 1950's that i am repairing and modding for modern day use.
Band/artist history
making music since i was 11, i started out using tape cassettes and using the rec and pause buttons mostly to record melodies that i would play back and play over. then i got my first (decent) computer with some crappy sample software (ejay dance?) in 2002 but hating the fact i had to use pre-made samples and loops i recorded them onto tape and spliced them mixing them with my own tunes. then i got audacity and well its been the same until recently i got given a reel-to-reel 4track tape recorder by a friend (who stole it from a school) and gave it to me knowing i'd actually use it. I have been listening to alot of daphen oram and delia dearbyshire recently and have been itching to make some music like them.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played live in Europe, America and here in good old England, in my own bands and touring with others...its been a hell of a time.
Your musical influences
too many to list off, i get a new favorite band each week, maybe the old radiophonics artists were a big inspiration but also harsh noise bands and grindcore bands.
What equipment do you use?
anything and everything i can get my hands on, i move a lot and make and break all sorts, there is no defined list of equipment.
Anything else?
Build your own damn instruments, the amount of musician i met who brag about there expensive fucking Korgs but can barely just play them....fuck you guys.
