Klavar
Klavar is made up of two members, Tony Merritt and Kevin Parker. Although they are producers in their own right with their own projects they formed this group to create music in different styles. Both members have been creating music since 1998 and have performed at local gigs in Oldham. Their love for music brought them together and they decided to teach themselves music. Using an Amiga 1200 they did just this creating three albums. On the success and feedback from their music they decided to take things further where Tony went to Uni to study music technology. After years of self and professional tuition these two members now enjoy making music and experimenting in making new sounds and music. These two members love creating different styles of music and portray this in their songs. After many name changes the pair came to agree on the name Klavar in which they would make music. In 2005 they released their first album Dispursed Reality under this name.
This début album by Klavar was eagerly awaited. This mix of dance and alternative styles has been bred from the definitive style that Tony Merritt and Kevin Parker posses. Dispursed Reality is the result of a lot of hard work and patience in blending the two styles together to create an album that sounds right. This album is being played in Cyprus at the moment and is getting good feedback for the artists.
Arrival Reveiw
Excellent piece of trance! High energy that does all but make you want to get up and dance like a Whirling Dervish!
Then it takes off...leaving you in the dust, your head spinning, wondering what the heck happened. A truly fine piece
of music that I or anyone would be proud to claim! I love the keys! Great drums! The bass is steady and holds everything
in place nicely. Good Job! You are a Genius!!
