Kixxx Development
Bio Kixxx Development:
Gary Razzzanova was born in 1969 in the deep south of the Netherlands. As a guitar player he started playing in bands from the age of 12 on and got infected with the 'music disease' he's still suffering today. After playing in several bands he met StayFunKey who was the keyboard player at that time, which was the beginning of a close and musical friendship. Since Gary and StayFunKey were not just into making music but were also in the process of creating a production studio to produce their own compositions, they joined forces in Kixxx Development and have been working together on a weekly basis. The styles they master vary from Chill Out to punchy dance tracks and are always influenced by their favourite music styles; Jazz, Soul, Funk and Electro. This album is their first release and contains a fine selection of laidback lounge tracks, sometimes even with a dancy flavour, but always suitable for those moments that we all appreciate most
StayFunKey was born 1972 in the beautiful Roman city of Maastricht in the very south of the Netherlands. Started making music on the age of 7 by attending piano lessons. From that moment on StayFunKey lost his heart on Jazz and expanded his flavours with Soul, Funk, Lounge and Electro in the years after. StayFunKey discovered the possibilities of synthesizers and samplers and started applying them in the bands he played. This is where he finally met Gary Razzzanova (1996) and a mutual understanding about music grew in the years that followed. In 2000 StayFunKey and Gary Razzzanova decided to expand their musical activities and founded Kixxx Development; a project in which they both started composing tracks together. The mix of two totally different characters lead to a great musical match which can be enjoyed on their first release; Ecotone.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We don't play live yet. We did play in bands in the past and one of our goals is definitely to be able to present our work with a band again. Before that we want to have some of our work released.
