Rockabilly

King Teddy is a late '50's and early '60's influenced swing band that is based in the Washington, D.C. area. Our songlist, both original and cover, is heavily influenced by Louis Prima, Elvis, the InkSpots, and other jump blues, swing and rock icons.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
To date, we've played as far north as Baltimore, MD and as far south as Culpeper, VA. We love to play live, and have been lucky enough to play some great wine festivals and outdoor summer concerts. Always a blast.
Your musical influences
Beatles, McCartney, Sam Cooke, Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra-- melody is important for us, no matter what the style.
What equipment do you use?
Keyboard is a Yamaha Motif ES7. Love it!

Why aren't you doing the shows that Harry Connick Jr. is doing! ok sorry for the comparison but you are so jammin' you ought to be in pictures/cd's/movies/waltdisney soundtracks. Great Sound
