Kine Heights: A new Recording Artist from Dust Dem Out Entertainment. Kine pronounced (Kinay) has been singing all her life. Kine was born and raised in the 9th Ward Section of the great music city of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is and has been the lead singer for New Orleans based Reggae Band Higher Heights for the past 12 years. Hurricane Katrina caused her to leave New Orleans in 2005. That's where she met up with Mic Bless, Owner and Reggae music producer of Dust Dem Out Entertainment. Since then Kine and Mic have collaborated and just completed a 17 song debut Cd entitled "Jah Mi Know" due to be released soon . Kine's high energy, serious wicked lyrics, and rich soothing vocals lends to Reggae an original vibe that has not been felt in a long time. She has one of those raw and rare styles that seems to get the attention of American listeners as well as the entire Reggae Community. At this time Kine and Mic are looking to partner up with a serious record label who may want to be a part of this release. We believe that she is ready to deal with a serious indie or a major established company. If you ever get a chance to see her perform, then you will know that you are looking at a future star. Her years of live performance and her long experience in the studio leaves no doubt that Kine Heights is up to be one of the the next great Reggae Sensations.
Selassie I Live!Have you performed in front of an audience?Kine plays all the time in New Orleans and all over the US. She tours with her band on national tours such as the Bob Marley and Reggae on the River tours. She also performes live at Reggae and Jazz fests throughout the country. You can currently see her perform at Cafe Negril in New Orleans. Kine is not performing the album songs live at this time
