Kindred Folks is an all blood brother, Phenix City/Ft. Mitchell, Alabama based Hip Hop ensemble that has been around for about 3 years. Of course you know the clique is Alabama On Top (A.O.T.) Their goal is to give listeners unique and real street lyrical talent, too often missed within this genre. Kindred Folks consists of BlakGost (Producer), Flee (lyricist), A-Roc (lyricist/producer) and Hook D (singer). A-Roc's / Flee's unique demeaners while performing have earned them much respect regionally. This is mainly due to them not only being able to write lyrics, but also to destroy any and all competition while coming off the dome, without even breaking a sweat. True freestyle kings. Hook-D is the singer of the group who has more projects lined up than he can handle. His soulful tenors, combined with Roc and Flee's lyrical talents are sure to be the next big thing coming from the south. All production on their tracks are credited to A-Roc and BlakGost of BlakGost Productionz. Their first album "Off Da Backburna'" will be mastered and available Aug 2006. Thanks to Alabama, and to all who see what we see and live how we live. A.O.T.
