KiM Bertram
Kim Bertram, a Can-Am border town man who learned to play the guitar upside down. Actually he says everyone else is up side down. There are many interesting people who play this way. Doyle Bromhall III, guitarist for Eric Clapton, Albert King, Otis Rush, blues boys and many others. The syle is not like Jimi Hendrix. He restrung a right handed guitar to be played left handed. Kim plays a right handed guitar but left handed. It has created a interesting voice after thirty eight years of playing and he has said that it has began to talk back to him.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I recently left my band "Addwater" a cover band for classic rock. I now have more time to work on my music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I may play a open mic at a festival or local pub but beyond that mostly around the camp fire.

I am a songwriter and I don't stay in any given catagory, If it comes out rock when I'm writting,than its a rock song, If it ends up a western swing thats what it is. I don't try to influence the song, I let it blossom where it wants to.
