Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Anthony (LocdoGg) Adair basically started the entire thing. He always loved music and did his best to create or manipulate music. He use to record songs over instrumentals using a 2 cd/cassette player setup. One of the cassete players had a mic input. The setup was rigged in such a "ghetto" complex way that we cannot remember exactly how it was done. For a mic he used headphones because he couldn't afford a mic.
Back in 2004 LocdoGg got a really crappy computer and regular desktop mic. He got his hands on a copy of copy of Sony Acid and started recording joke tracks over free midi files for fun. He was just doing music as a hobby and for the love of it. Soon after that he got his hands on a copy of Fruity Loops and started figuring out how to use it. He made some beats and used Acid to record the vocals. Needless to say it was still a hobby. Then Propellerhead Reason came.
Once he got his hands on Reason 4 he knew he needed a better machine. He got one and quickly started using and learning Reason. He didn't have a midi Keyboard so he would use the Matrix Sequencer quite a bit. Once Reason 5 came out he knew he needed a midi keyboard!
Once Anthony got the midi keyboad he started taking his music more seriously. He started recording his vocals on Adobe Audition and influenced his brother Justin (Psycho) Adair to do something. The brothers and a few friends got together and formed their label which was un-named until PsYcHo figured out a name that stuck!
Now here we are making music! We still struggle to pay our rent and feed our kids but we are in it for the love of the music!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Some of our artist play live. Our producers obviously don't unless they are artists as well. The artists that play live love it! We usually only play live shows here in the Phoenix Metro area. Maybe when we get alittle more exposure we will play across the country more.
