How often have you read a band's biography describing themself as a breath defying, ground breaking, musical revelation? Far too often it seems. What separates "Kid Gib" from the pact is their honest sincerity and self determination. We are emotional without being emo, we get fired up without being screamo, we're melodic without being pop, and we're hard without being punk. Thus, one could best describe "Kid Gib" as a "rock and or roll" band with many influences.
Self-managed from day one, "Kid Gib" has utilized their DIY attitude in gaining a sincere and loyal fan base.
"Kid Gib" formed in the summer of 2001, and shortly after, they recorded and produced two separate and uniquely different 7 song EPs. By the fall of 2002, they had found themselves in touch with tour manager for Goldfinger, Paul Shull. The band was introduced to Shulls producer, Dan Achen (ex-Junkhouse guitarist), with whom they have recorded two full length album, "The Harder They Fall" and their newest up coming release "Dance With The Drama," at Catherine North Recordings in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
The release of "The Harder They Fall" received airplay across Ontario, and has sold copies from Germany to Japan. The Nickelodeon Network U.S.A. also took notice of the album and licensed all 11 tracks on The Harder They Fall to the new hit TV show Radio Free Roscoe.
With the word quickly spreading, Kid Gib landed big shows with major label bands such as Goldfinger, Jersey, Somehow Hollow (ex-Grade), The Reason, The Planet Smashers, Subb, Digger, Mugshot, District 7, The Getaway, and Bombs Over Providence.
The upcoming release of "Dance With The Drama" is Kid Gib's most mature and well produced material to date. Expect to hear big things and tour dates coming to a town near you!
The album available for your listening pleasure "The Harder They Fall" was released as an 11 song LP on October 31st, 2003, and was produced, recorded, and mixed by Dan Achen (ex-Junkhouse guitarist) @ Catherine North Recording, Hamilton, Ontario. Mastered by Noah Mintz @ The Lacquer Channel, Toronto, Ontario.

Real good music guys. Keep it up and you'll be big someday. I have a little band of my own, and if it's not too much trouble, could you give us any pointers on how to improve ourselves? (besides replacing the electronic drums and getting the singer to sing better)... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
haha, you guys are awsome stage preformers, not to mention awsome musicians! Great vocals and guitar and bass riffs not to mention drums. I saw you guys at the Y in hamilton some time ago in the winter and I thought you guys were the best band there. I hope you guys will be coming back to hamilton soon! By the way, check out my band at www.soundclick.com/onemoredaycan
