Propulsive hook-packed rock from the hottest European rock trio.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After years of doing all that it takes to develop a large fan base, including grass-roots promotion, touring, and releasing one self produced promo, the European-based KHARISMA are in full stride with their first official record, KHARISMA, the album is a natural progression for Kharisma' propulsive hook-packed rock which debuted on their self-titled promo (2001).
Primary songwriter GD has found that the key to successful writing is writing what he experience in his life. Throughout college and beyond, GD's music has been an alloy of sounds from the European contemporary rock scene resulting in music that is at once pop, funk, and punk that appeals to adventurous rock fans. The influence of artists such as Sex Pistols, the Clash, and Foo Fighters is immediately apparent yet serve as suggestions rather than blueprints for the Kharisma' style. It is the timelessness of their songs that is the constant. When Joe joined the band on guitars (2003), a rock outfit was born. After amassing numerous fans in Italy, neighboring cities and as far as they could reach on weekend road trips, Kharisma got serious about their music and opted for a recording and touring career.
Each member of the rock trio is a professional musician (GD is a Berklee College of Music trained songwriter, Guerrino is a 15 years experienced touring musician and Joe is an high in demand European session player), the show is an high energy rock performance that reminds the stage presence of legendary pop/rock trio 'the Police'.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we've performed both separately as together in all over Europe and in US, East Coast.
Your musical influences
We love live music. Everything express truly a feeling or a sensation in an honest way is good music for us.
What equipment do you use?
We use mostly handmade instruments, GD uses an exclusive of Traverso Guitars and Charbit gear.
