Solo Biography (by Kev) I've been playing guitar for a while now, since about '92 I think. I was inspired pretty much by my Dad's LP collection of classic rock, Deep Purple, Clapton, Led Zep, and played in my first gigging band around age 16 in a pub blues covers band. I began to write and record solo instrumental music after hearing 'Flying in a Blue Dream" by Joe Satriani, who remains one of my greatest influences. Both my solo projects "Discovery" (1998) and "Intensity" (2004) have something of an experimental quality to them, and you can find straight ahead rock tracks next to jazz and spanish tinged melodies. Two tracks from "Discovery" were used at the beginning of 2004 on the "gen://ex" programme on the UK's "Extreme Sports" cable TV channel. More information on "Discovery" at
