Kevin Nichols is a freelance drummer who has played in the bands Anchor, Western Oaks Youth Band, and for various churches. He is currently producing a semi-instructional drumming CD, due for release in May of 2005. Kevin has been playing since age 10 & lists his influences as Rush (Neil Peart), Dave Weckl, Buddy Rich, Metallica, Petra, Whiteheart, & Nirvana, to name but a few. He is currently constructing a band for the FridayNightSummerSeries in Oklahoma City, which begins in June 2005. He incorporates an active and busy style of drumming, using a 9-piece set with double-bass, often with odd time signatures.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live in various venues and recording. Most special moments were with the band Anchor in the early to mid 90's, with band members Larry (Buddy) Greene and Robert Wood, playing live and in studio.
