Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Kevin John Smith has a long history in the music business that has taken him from Stages throughout the world to recording studios and radio programs. Seasoned and educated in both classical and jazz idioms, Mr. Smith brings excitement and elegance to the world of vocal art. Kevin has performed with The Minnesota Opera, Walt Disney Worlds “Voices of Liberty,” Busch Gardens Entertainment, The Medora Musical, and has been a featured performer on cruise ships. Kevin earned his Actors Equity card while performing the off Broadway hit “Forever Plaid” in Minneapolis, has recorded jingles and voice-overs, and has sung in major concert halls. He has adjudicated jazz and show choir competitions, and has been a clinician of music education to high school and college students and instructors throughout the nation. Kevin is an active cantor and liturgical soloist and currently performs with the Pacific Mozart Ensemble in San Francisco. He is also one of the 5 founding members of the nationally award winning vocal quintet Voice Trek. With 9 CD's and numerous awards, the group performs internationally, and is a well respected and accomplished component of the global music scene.

I perform in the Bay Area and am currently releasing my first solo Cd.
