Kevin Dellinger
Kevin Dellinger is an electronic singer-songwriter, composer,
producer who has been composing alternative synthpop
music since age ten. After developing his talent, he started
getting college radio play.
He gained his first record contract in Nashville, Tennessee in
1994. The 1990s were full of songwriting and recording in his
local town in Radford, Virginia, USA. This is where he gained
most of his recording studio experience in engineering and
producing.
After a slow period in the eary 2000s, Kevin switched gears
from alternative to more electronica. Influenced by Bjork and
Underworld, Kevin Dellinger's style began to evolve. A time
out was needed to evaluate his music career.
The music is now picking up in 2007. Kevin Dellinger now
produces his own music with his own record label, "Kevin
Dellinger Productions."
Kevin Dellinger is more known for "Breaking Free" and
"Slapped By A Space Ghost" from his CD, "Static Trance."
Kevin Dellinger has three CD releases in the year 2007.
They are "Static Trance", "Green Sky", and "Digital
Graveyard."
"Microphone Boy" is Kevin Dellinger's Dance CD, which will be
released in early 2008. Only the future will tell where Kevin
Dellinger will go. As the listeners listen on, his music takes
shape.
There are still over 120 copyrighted songs from the 1990s
that will be re-mastered from cassette to digital and
released in the future. At least two CDs, "The Angel
Chronicles" and "Solution", will be among them.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been writing music for years. I have over 120 copyrighted songs on cassette before
the digital world created mp3s. I guess I need to find those and grab them out of my closet.
But I have over 20 years of studio experience. Although my Home Studio music is not up to Par just yet. I am working on that.
I spent a few years in Nashville and had some opportunities to be with RCA Records. That did not happen though due to unfortunate music industry politics. So I had to go solo and it is a much harder and longer road.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do not play live. Although I do perform Karaoke occasionally.
