Born July 1,1989 in Chicago, IL to parents Kevin and Jean Broom, Kevin Broom(Jr.) has been on a mission ever since he took his first breath and said his first words. Growing up in Matteson, a small south suburb in Illinois, Kevin fell in love at a very young age. From Jay-z, Nas, LL Cool J, Rakim and Eric B., Pimp C, Prodigy, Big L, Notorius Big and Tupac gave him the sense of inspiration and passion that would only grow larger as he matured. He is allumni to Marya Yates Elementry School which is located in Matteson and home to famous and future famous rappers and beatmakers such as C.H.I., Shorty-K, Mikey Rocks(Cool Kids), K. Rich(Galactic Ent.) Young Kevo(BNB), Amoe(BNB), Surround Sound, KE, Max Millz, just to name a few. During his time there he only listened to rap. "Just focusing on rap kinda limited me in my early stages and i idolized them for all the wrong reasons. In fall 2003 he attended Rich South H.S. where he met Faness, S.H.Y.E., Playboy, Novacane, John Lennon, B-Hurd, KO, Yung Champ, Max Millions, Chuck Barz, C-Millz, Arson and Steve Selah. But most importantly TY Guana who is not only his best friend but business partner. The two along with Arson and Steve Selah made up The Coalition. The group released a very popular mixtape titled Class In Session produced by Surround Sound and Ray Gunn. "The mixtape was real sucessful considering the fact that we did it in a month, which goes to show you how talented we were and are." The group later split leaving Arson and Steve Selah in The Coalition and TY Guana and Kevin Broom(formerly K.A.O.S.) to form the Black Bureau Inc. which also include Max Millionz and Yung Champ. So what seperates Kevin Broom from the rest of the pack?" I dont drink, I no longer smoke and the type of music I make is a reflection of me and the people of america. When they hear the songs whether they went through the situation or not they can relate because they know its real no gimmicks no nothing." My music is a reflection of me and me only" When asked about his album PAR MUBLA he stated" PAR MUBLA is rap album spelled backwards and the focus would be to make everything thats into days ringtone filled rap albums and flip it around. So no smokin weed songs, 24's on the coupe bullshit just raw real music from the heart and soul. " My recording process for the album is crazy!!!"All I need is a pen , a pad some hot ass beats and bottled water."People be saying they dont write lyrics down tryna be like Jay-Z , Biggie and Lil Wayne, but if you do research some of the best songs with lyrical content was written down.
