I've been playing guitar since the mid-60's. I've been in several bands. Oh, I also played keyboards for a while (I really need to get one again.)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Why yes I do. Mostly because I thought it would be way too difficult to play once I'm dead.
Your musical influences
Oh my??? Beatles, Stones, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee lewis, Dean Martin, Bob Dylan, Glen Campell, Hank Williams, Led Zepplin, Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Jimmie Buffet, the Drifters, the Coasters, Supremes,... (Shall I go on?) I guess I don't really think about it much, I will listen to and play any songs I like, regardless of genre. I played rock for a long time, then I was into country, then folk, somewhere in there was motown, and of course I play blues (who doesn't these days?) I even tried bluegrass for a while. About the only music I can say I don't really love is gangster rap, although I must add that much of the hiphop I've heard is very good.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars and stuff.

I'm always looking for musicians to collaborate with, especially if we can do it live. If you happen to be in the Salem Oregon area, and want to give something a try, leave me a message! Or, if you are very far away and would like to do some online collaboration, I'd be into that as well.
