None of the genres listed seem to fit me, so I picked Alternative General. (Whatever that means???)
Down in Mexico Down in Mexico
Just a laid back summer tune. I wrote this one, sang it, and played all the instruments. (With help from my drum machine.)
Kodi's Blues Kodi's Blues
Just the blues for a good dog who passed away. Probably not great blues, but it was very therapeutic, and actually reached #15 on the Soundclick blues charts.
Neil's Blues Neil's Blues
Jammin' some 'REALLY SLOW' blues with my friend Neil in England. Thanks to Neil for providing the Drums and Bass line. (This is my first attempt at playing electric guitar.) I also did an acoustic version. But I think I like this one better.
The Girl from Ipanema The Girl from Ipanema
Decided to give this one a shot, mostly because I liked the rhythm. I keep meaning to go back and do some improv with it, but...?
Tuckerello Tuckerello
Just a jam with some friends from around the world. (Cuba(percussion), San Francisco(Tres Cubana), and the U.K.(Bass).) I just play the nylon string guitar in this one.
Most of music is me playing everything, although there are also quite a few that were collaborations with folks in Norway, the United Kingdom, Australia, and various places around the USA.I've been playing guitar since the mid-60's. I've been in several bands. Oh, I also played keyboards for a while (I really need to get one again.)Have you performed in front of an audience?Oh my??? Beatles, Stones, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee lewis, Dean Martin, Bob Dylan, Glen Campell, Hank Williams, Led Zepplin, Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Jimmie Buffet, the Drifters, the Coasters, Supremes,... (Shall I go on?) I guess I don't really think about it much, I will listen to and play any songs I like, regardless of genre. I played rock for a long time, then I was into country, then folk, somewhere in there was motown, and of course I play blues (who doesn't these days?) I even tried bluegrass for a while. About the only music I can say I don't really love is gangster rap, although I must add that much of the hiphop I've heard is very good.Guitars and stuff.I'm always looking for musicians to collaborate with, especially if we can do it live. If you happen to be in the Salem Oregon area, and want to give something a try, leave me a message!
Or, if you are very far away and would like to do some online collaboration, I'd be into that as well.
