Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I'm a member of the groups F.U.R.Y. and Squad 730. Squad 730 is the main group because every member under KI Recordz, my own label, is apart of Squad 730. F.U.R.Y. includes Infamy (Prince of Texas) and myself. It started off as F.U.R.Y. and then I met up with some future rappers tryna make money by the tons and the rest is pretty much history in the makin'. We weren't always Squad 730 though. Before there was Squad 730 we had a group called the Wize Guyz and we found out there was some other group out there by the name so we switched it up. Which was a good thing to do anyway, ya kno?!? As far as the group making moves, one of the artist (Water Gates) won "Hottest in the Rock" on a local radio station in Little Rock, Arkansas. I opened up for DJ Smallz, the #1 DJ in the South, radio show on XM Radio (Wax//42) back in Jan. of this year. I also featured on the D.S.R. mixtape "All Feestyles No Freestyles", Swatteam's mixtape "Final Destination", and I'm on Swatteam's new upcoming CD (Americaz Most Throwdest) with Fat Bastard of D.S.R., Lil Rick aka Sunny, D-Lou, B.I.G., and Prince. We also just released the new single from Squad 730 called "It Is What It Is" so look out for it and show some love and keep a request on your local radio stations for us.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yep. I perform anywhere they want me to. Got to if ya wanna get to the top.
Your musical influences
I just love music. Music is powerful! But if I just had to name some people I'd have to say Snoop, Dr. Dre, Fabolous, Jadakiss, DMX, UGK, Eightball & MJG, triple 6 mafia, NWA, Mack 10, Easy E., Tupac, Biggie, Big L., Bone Thugs and Harmony, and the list goes on and on.
