Hello, my names is Kenn Smith, bassist and composer. The name of my new band is "Elements of Life", a mixture of jazz, old school funk and world music. My mission in life is simply. Play some music, spread some love and joy, have a good time. Life is to short!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Kenn has performed with many great artist as a session/touring guitarist and bassist. Playing styles ranging from be-bop to alterative rock. Sharing stages with such artist as Tower of Power, Stanley Turrentine, Stanley Jordan and members of the Miles Davis Band. As a solo artist he is recognized for his soulful, organic mixture of jazz, funk and blues.
