I've been playing for a while and some friends would like to hear some of my stuff. So here it is.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played quite a bit live. Pretty much I just do spot gigs or musical theatre now.
Your musical influences
I listen to almost every kind of music. From Joe Pass chord melodies to Jimmy Page. Hendrix is a big influence, but Jeff Beck is bigger. John Scofield is a modern jazz influence. Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke and David Wilcox are pretty big on the acoustic side. Steve Morse is a very big influence. Johnny Winter was probably my first major influence. I try to keep a little bit of all of it in my playing from time to time.
What equipment do you use?
Just for backing tracks I use a Roland 1080.
Guitars include a 71 Les Paul, a 75 Martin HD 28, a Charvel Model 6, a Dean Jazz Stylist, and a Godin LGX. For Amplification, I use a Boss Amp Factory direct into the board (or the PA if live).
