I'm more of a songwriter than a performer, though I have done my fair share of gigging with a number of bands in the past. If the names Pale Surrender or King of Sixes mean anything to you, then your either a member of my family or a really avid fan. Either way I was the songwriter in both of those fine bands...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
As I mentioned earlier, these days I prefer writing to performing, but I still do the odd acoustic gig when the mood takes me.
Your musical influences
I'm never really sure what to say when asked about 'influences', but if it helps this is some of the stuff I've bought recently...The Finn Brothers, The Be Good Tanyas, Eliza Carthy, Jim White.
