Kawazu the Raccoon
I am an independant musician in a perpetual state of nomadic wandering, introducing people to the rhythms of our forgotten ancestors with hand drumming and at the same time providing a new crunchy edge that'll hopefully appeal to modern day rockers.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
IN THE BEGINNING, there was a hallucinogenic filovirus that bore it's way into an unsuspecting boy's brain. From there, it anchored deep within his mind and formed a strange relationship in which it provided him with strange vibrations which translated into music in return for alpha wavelength energy.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, anywhere and everywhere I take my drums. I hit up art conventions, random festivals and sometimes just sit on a large hill overlooking a town or a forest. My favorite gig was in San Jose, CA, with the most random Celtic trio I've ever been a part of! Much love to Summer and Ian, wherever ya'll are now...
