When was the group formed? The group was officially formed in 2002. The group members were rapping together since 1998, sending out demo tapes and then graduated to CD’s when CD-writers came into the market. The group has been together ever since. The Fuges and most of the Interscope Records artists influence our music. What we do is to take those influences and bring them here at home. What then comes out is k-9. That’s just a simple example to try and describe our sound, but you really have to hear it for yourself.Anything else?
So what about k-9? : “Kats wit 9 livez” is the payoff line. k-9 is the brand and our fan base knows us as k-9. The name has blown up and it seems people find it easier to use.
