kathleen - The irish Songbird

In recent months Kathleen Irish Songbird has put her music on hold as her family life took an unexpected turn when her son Michael was diagnosed with cancer in March 2010.. Over the course of his treatment many families walking the same journey inspired Kathleen to focus on raisng Awareness of Childhood Cancer.. Many children along that walk have died from this desease and it is Kathleens goal is to to lead people in whatever way she can through her music and web design to lead people to becoming aware that cancer is the leading cause of death in childhood.. Brand New Pair Of wings has had over 100000 plays on the internet bringing a wonderful response from many for the healing they have recieved.Worldwide Anna has touched so many lives this in it'self has stregthened her daddies faith that his daughter had work to do for the Lord. I sang my favourite love song with the writer and professional singer Katherine Kaye(Willis) in Nashville this year then went on to perform a couple of my original songs in clubs in Nashville.

My musical influences have been the great Freddy Fender,Tammy Wynette,Vern Gosden,Dolly Parton,Hank Locklin,hank Williams and of course The King of Gospel Elvis
