Hey! Thanks for checking out my music. I am a Christian songwriter/worship leader. I really have a passion for songwriting. It's the only thing that I can work at for hours and hours without getting bored! I write mostly Christian songs but I have written half a dozen secular songs. Glad you are here! Leave me a message, tell me what you think of my songs or just whatever you have on your heart. "The Band" right now is myself, my husband who is an AMAZING musician (guitar, drums, percussion, bass....(ok, let's face it; there's not much he can't play!) and my great friend Karen who sings harmony with us. We have a great time just getting together and worshipping. God, brought us all together from opposite ends of the country. My husband and I (also known as "The Yankees") and our buddy the "Southern Belle" (well, OK, she probably wouldn't like that description) love singing together. We not only make worship deep and meaningful but it's also alot of FUN!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I record at a little studio in Conroe, Texas called "Fourth Creation". My fabulous band behind these songs are the guys from Lakewood Church's Band in Houston Texas. They are simply genius!! They really are awesome musicians and they just play so perfectly together. I am truly blessed to be able to have them playing on my songs. Thank you God!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, wherever and whenever. Just call!
Your musical influences
I absolutely love Paul McCartney, especially in his early days. I love the way he writes and his bass playing is phenomenal. Some of my favorite songs of his are Hello Goodbye, Blackbird, Drive My Car, and In My Life.
What equipment do you use?
A Roland keyboard (that I kinda "borrowed" from my gracious husband and a Korg home studio that he bought me for a present
