Formed in 1999, Kathexis is: Industrial, Metal, Thelemic, Semi-Gothic, Darkly Spiritual... An amalgamation of many metal genres steeped in the kettle of undying angst.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Future live shows are an eventuality. Currently, the 'band' is Dave Lally, with recurring spoken word contributions by Tina, and occasional guest spots.
Your musical influences
I have always liked 'heavy' music, which does not neccessarily mean 'thick, crunching guitars'. I like to think that my musical influence is Heavy music itself. I like a lot of bands, ranging from industrial (skinny puppy, front line assembly, velvet acid christ) to European black/heavy metal (dimmu borgir, in flames, cradle of filth) and everything in between.
What equipment do you use?
Roland XP 60, Roland R70, guitar, bass, various other implements of destruction.
