Karate Explosion! is our name. We like to rock and do so in a variety of ways, from catchy straightforward (but with a unique flair of originality) rock songs to instrumental rock songs to the occasional wierd, undefinable song.

A Los Angeles based band with no members from LA. Steve and Matt are from San Diego and have been sworn enemies since high school. Pat is from Denver. We all go to Loyola Marymount University and love music. We decided to form a band and record a few songs. It was a lot of fun and we like the results so we kept going.
We haven't played any shows yet, but we are planning to start very soon.
We love all things rock, and more. We have straightforward, catchy rock rongs, unique instrumentals, and the occaisonal out there, wierd sounding songs.
To be very general, an apartment, laptop, and various musical instruments. Live, Pat will play lead guitar, Matt will do the majority of the singing (and the occaisonal sax), and Steve will probably switch between bass and rythm guitar. And of course, Steve's laptop will be there to supply the drum beats (no disrespect to drummers, we know you can't duplicate real live drumming, but we have to make due with what we have). And while Pat may be a great musician, he can't play guitar and keyboard at the same time, so the laptop will probably supply some keyboard parts too.
