Kane Sole
I'm an unsigned singer/songwriter from Aotearoa, currently based in South Korea.
Haling from the small town New Plymouth, New Zealand, I grew up on the beach; which I guess is the foundation for my strong affinty with nature.
The songs I write are a fly on the wall observation of human interaction, they're an intimate snapshot in a moment of self reflection, or just another fictional character with something to say.
I enjoy many styles and genre's of music but am most drawn towards those which have a strong acoustic flavor. Influence's include Ben Harper, Damien Rice, Dave Dobbyn, and Jack Johnson.
I love music that "tells a story" and squeezes an emotion, hopefully my music squeezes something inside you.

Cover bands....nothing much interesting here......yet!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm currently playing open mic and acoustic venues around Seoul.
It's an exciting time, a new counrty, new faces.
Your musical influences
Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, Ben Harper, Tracey Chapman, Dave Dobbyn, Bob Marley, Tom Petty.....Basically anything with an acoustic focus. I love hip hop too, which can often influence scansion and rhyming.
