Im Matthew Lewis aka Jynx. I'm 19.
I'm from Halesowen, Birmingham, West Midlands.
I started listening to most types of music since I was about 11 or 12 maybe, I started taking it serious at the age of 13, loved all types as I got older, i started to focus on Hip Hop, Rap, RnB and Old school Garage, feeling the beats and melodies they included. Recently Ive been listening to 60s, 70s and 80s classics, comparing them to what tunes have been sampled. By High School, Year 9, I had started to write lyrics thanks to Jake down at the Youth Centre. From then I got into Music production, playing the keyboard through to Halesowen College. Using Fruity Loops and then onto Reason 4, combined with Adobe Audition 2, I was liveBand/artist history
Started many years ago, doing simple things, now I have progressed alot over the years with lyrics and beats, so check them out.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have a few places, a few pubs and a charity event, and of course live in street in person.
Your musical influences
Ummm, not many really, people who get far like Dizzee and Kano, but lyrically P Money and Ghetto, Cirus, JME, a couple grime MCs, friends from back in the day doing there ting still. RT and Professor D, Metamore, Screama, those Birmingham man doing it Big.What equipment do you use?
