Justus (CCHC)

JustUs was a small town Hardcore / Punk band originally formed in 1990 by Three young skateboarders; Mike, Dave, and Danny. After watching Malignus Youth, Suspended Animation, Head-Space, and other AZ bands play we decided to buy instruments and start a band of our own. With no musical experience at all it was a bit difficult to make songs. With help from Scott (Danny’s brother) and his several years of guitar experience JustUs was now a Four piece band and within no time, songs were created and shows soon followed. With help and inspiration from local bands and friends the good times seem to roll. Late 1991 Scott left the band for personal reasons, Mike and Dave began to start other awesome band projects such as Boot Party and G-39. Around 1992 the band wasn’t playing much, Danny was getting ready to graduate from High School and was scheduled to enlist in the Army, Mike was also graduating and eventually joined the Army, Dave went on to College, and the rest was history!!!! Although we weren’t the most talented small town hardcore / Punk band the memories of good times, band practices, playing shows, and hanging with friends were the best of times that will forever remain.
