JAB is Alex on guitar, Tommy on bass and backing vocals, Andrew on guitar and vocals, and Casey on drums. JAB fuses rock, punk, and alternative to create a catchy and fun sound. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
JAB was started in 2002, but didn't really start getting seroius until this last year. It started with Alex and Tommy jamming in Tommys basement, at which time we added Andrew, who suggested Casey to us, and that's how it all got started. From there, we played a couple house shows, some other assorted shows, and recorded a demo. We realized we needed some work, so we sat down and came up with a bunch of new songs, played some shows, and recorded the 6 song CD "Triumphs and Tragedies" which was released 2/7/04.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love playing live. All over the place. We love playing live its tons of fun. Yes...lots of special moments but it would take way to long to tell them to you. Ask us personally if u want.
Your musical influences
We have vast influences ranging from Andrew's classic rock preference to Tommy's hardcore influences. Casey likes a lot of punk and rock music, and Alex likes everything from Bruce Springsteen to the Smithereens to LBC.
