Junior Varsity
We are Junior Varsity, a 4 piece pop/punk melodic emo rock band from blountstown Florida! some of our influences are the ataris, the starting line, saves the day, the movie life, new found glory, and taking back sunday. these songs on here are from our old 5 song e.p. we did when we were still a 3 piece...they are ok but our new stuff is much better. we r recording a new 3 song demo in november to hopefully get somewhere with. hope you like our stuff!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
me (joe), donovan, and jon have been playing in random bands with one another for 4 years. me, donovan, and matt settled down about a year ago and decided we wanted to start something serious...a band that would never break up and that we could take things to the next level with. and junior varsity was born. we added jon as an additional guitar player about 6 months ago. we've played a lot of shows and did the 5 song self-titled e.p. when we were still a 3 piece. we hope to do this for this rest of our lives!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yes we play as many shows as we can...mostly in panama city and we've started playing in tallahassee some but we are willing to play anywhere once we acquire transportation. we hope to tour this next summer. we put on a fun energetic live show.
