Judah First
Judah First is a Christian hard rock band based in Nashville, TN.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Judah First began in 1996 when Chris, our drummer, knocked on Phil's, our guitarist, door at Belmont University and the two hit it off immediately. 3 years later after many changes in personnel Chris and Phil are still together. They have been joined by James Aaron, who sang with Phil in his first band Eternal Pit, on vocals, and Andy, a veteran of the LA music scene, on bass.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Absolutely. We have played most of the venues in Nashville and the surrounding area. We love to play live, in fact, our whole mindset is on the live experience. We got to play 328 Performance Hall, it is a small hall but some of the big boys have played there.
Your musical influences
Kiss, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dream Theatre, Rush, Queensryche, Kenny Rogers. Not necessarily in that order.
What equipment do you use?
Ibanez guitars, Cort Curbow Basses, Tama Drums,Zildjian Cymbals, Shure mics, Marshall and Eden amps.
