GMC DO IT REAL BIG RIGHT NOw. With O'Fishell T.Y. and Blue Steel and others.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In the Summer of 2004 Young Hillz(Kahlil Crostan) Blue Steel(Julius Kearse) J money (Javone Hopkins) and T.Y. (Tyrell D. Spencer) was at Young hill house going over some songs when they decided they wanted to record their songs. All who were low in funds at the time decided to record at T.Y. house just to see how it sounded. they recorded three songs Game Over, T-Street and J Money(Walk with him Talk with him). It was this day that a bond between Blue Steel and T.Y. was formed. The two clicked instantly, Blue adopted T.Y. as his manager and T.Y. began producing beats and recording songs with Blue at his house. Over the course of the fall and winter the boys along with Blue's older brother O'Fishell found a formula that would skyrocket all three to the top. O would lace the beat, Blue would put words to it and T.Y. would Mix down the song. this formula proved to work as Arliss Michaels who owned the studio da boys recorded at stated that "Julius is the Best rapper on HillSide. "Yo sometimes i dont even feel like i have a job this kid is so good that he dont even need help with writing songs all i do is mix the songs down basically and he so good now i barely do dat i just set the volume controls" states T.Y. One Spring evening Steel and his brother O'Fishell were at home in their soundlab working. Blue was writing and O'Fishell was working on a beat. they came up with a song called shake, recorded it that night and submitted it to Ty the next day. T.Y. was blown away by this club bangah and instantly suggested that it be recorded in an expensive studio and a music video be shot for it. This was it. This song was gonna break these 3 in to the mainstream. On July 23 2005 Shake Something was shot by famous director Zodiac fishgrease's crew Stunt Control all over the 516 in various locations ranging from Jones Beach to Jillians. Many Crips and other hillside members showed up to support Blue Steel. the funfilled weekend was highlighted by various celebrity parties and appearences for steel and that record deal seemed to be in their grasp. However there was a minor setback involving a gang attack that took place at jillians after the video shoot. Two men who came unwelcomed threatened a man in blue steel's entourage. These threats were not taken likely as both entourages clashed and the two men who started the confrontation left in a ambulance. This event scared labels away from investing in someone who may end up behind bars. Nowadays the men adopted a new name in "Get Money Clique while Putting money in my Pockets"(GMC PIMPS). and record at snack box studios in lakeview NY. Steel is currently negoiating with Cash Money records as well as G-Unit records. Both deals have a 50 percent chance of suceeding but with the video being released in the summertime their chances seem to be reality.
