J. Space is me, a new school producer based out of Los Angeles. I am currently working with my group, Peoples Choice, as well as Virtú, Kemistry, and other developing artists in the underground hip-hop and drum'n'bass scenes.
My music ranges from aggressive, East Coast bangers to futuristic tech-hop to jazzy, soulful grooves. Yet, I always stay true to what I feel. I don't put out fake shit.

Band/artist history
I first began producing when I was a sophomore in high school. I took my love of hip-hop and alternative rock and read everything I could about production. I read every album credit, learned about studio equipment, etc.
It wasn't until I got to college that I really started to learn how to produce a record. From working with artists, and just listening to good music, I learned how to coach an artist through a session, and how to structure a record so it flows and makes sense to the listener.
Now that I'm in LA, I am learning the business side of things. My ear continues to be fine-tuned; I believe a true producer never stops absorbing the world around them. I never know what experiences or influences I may need to channel for a certain artist to succeed.
