My name is Jimmy aka Protect Yo Shit Entertainment is something I came up with. It is my home based studio (unsigned). I do my own thing....I work with local artists, but as far as my beats or "instrumentals", I compose everything!!!! On top of everything, I'm doing this for the love of hip hop and music!!!!!!

Your musical influences
The world and life, I get influenced by everything around me..but if you're talking as in people/music icons...... JAY-Z, NAS, JADAKISS, BONE THUGZ, BIGGIE, KRS1, J DILLA, HARRY FRAUD, ALCHEMIST, TIMBALAND, BUSTA RHYMES, FRENCH MONTANA, etc,etc,etc.......
What equipment do you use?
AKAI MPK25, BEHRINGER UB2442 MIXER, JVC FOSTER STAGE SPEAKERS ( THEY GOT FOUR 15's IN EM'), BOSS BR 864, FL Studio 10, ABLETON LIVE LITE 8, DGX Series Yamaha Keyboard, and a very old Yamaha PSS-480 Music Station Synthesizer keyboard.I think it's from the 80's or something!? M-AUDIO Interface with a couple different mics, but I mostly use my CAD U37 mic, and a BOSS DR-5 Rythym Machine....I don't have alot to work with, but I make due with what I got......
