My name is Joseph O'Brien, I am a 14 year old producer from the NorthWest of England. I started playing music at a very young age, 7 to be exact was when i started learning how to play the guitar. I started learning the piano one year later, bass as 11 and ukulele at 12 and finally singing at 13. So, naturally, music is and always will be a very big part of my life.Band/artist history
Well, thats a good question! As I said before I started quite early on so I sort of had an unfair advantage to an extent. My family are all very musical, in fact, my dad was the lead singer of a 90s band called "The Steamboat band" To much critical acclaim. So I guess you could say I was a born entertainer!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I have played live numerous times to different audiences, and yes, it can be scary, but I myself sort of feed off of the attention of the crowd enjoying what I offer.
Your musical influences
I have many heroes including my mum and dad haha! But my biggest musical influences are The Beatles, the beautiful south, Queen, Oasis, Led Zeppelin, the rat pack and a smattering of others.What equipment do you use?
I use various equipment, but for producing I use:
DAW(S): Garageband, FL Studio, Logic Pro X
MIDI Controller: Akai MPK Mini special edition
Speakers: Roland Cube Lite
and to be honest that is pretty much all you need!Anything else?
