"O come let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation." Psalm 95:1 This verse and others like it in scripture that refer to "joyful noise" have been in a way very liberating to me. I've always had a passion for music, but not necessarily the kind of music that you would associate with God or church. I believe however that the passions in all of our hearts are placed there by an inerrant God. In scripture it is clear that God is much more interested in the heart of the person offering up the joyful noise to him, than he is in how talented, structured or appropriate the noise may be. As kind of a jack of all trades and master of none musically (especially vocals), I have been emboldned by the work of God in my heart and by some open minded and loving friends at church to pursue the passion for musical creativity that God has let lie dormant in me for a long time. My hope is that this site can be a sort of trail of bread crumbs along whatever path the Lord leads me down. Thanks also to www.psalm149.com and all the members there. It's a terrific site for learning to songwrite and record at home.
