josoon is a song writers platform to explore the music created by johan and the lyrics provided by iris. we just met somewhere out in a dutch polder while skating and discovered we shared the passion for music.
as it appears the interaction of two different backgrounds prooved very fruitfull.

occasionally to try out new songs, once the album is ready we will extend to a band
Your musical influences
mine are older new orleans, bluesy and soul records. people like dave hidalgo, mickey3d, citizen cope, band of horses, centromatic, and recently turkish music from ozlem ozdil and husnu senlendirici.
What equipment do you use?
mainly a laptop with audition and live for recording. i play on anything with strings, mainly fender strat but in many cases old, rare and low value instruments give me more weird vibes.
