Jose Diaz picked up the guitar at 13 and has never looked back. His inspiration has come from many different sources. He takes what life throws at him and throws music back. The self proclaimed Tornado Fingered Texan blends his inspirations into everything from soft piano ballads to hard driving Heavy Metal and offers no apologies for what he produces. If it provokes you in any way, then by your reaction, he has succeeded.

In his own words:
Music is one of the great loves of my life. It takes me deep into the depths of my own soul as well as beyond the farthest stars in the heavens. One note can be an inspiration and inspiration can come at you from anywhere at any time. Its nothing less than a true blessing to be able to create music and Im thankful that for now I am unclouded by money from big corporate record companies. I dont do this for the money. I do it for the sake of the music itself. I hope people will listen and lose themselves in a song or two.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I did in the late 80's. Just a lot of parties and maybe three or four small to moderate venues.
Your musical influences
Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, B.B. King, Stevie Ray V. The list of influences I have is endless. I'm into the heavier stuff but actually listen to just about everything.
What equipment do you use?
BOSS;br1180cd,gt-6,dr880.SAMSON; CQ-8 headphone amp. SHURE; PG-58. ROLAND;DS-50 monitors.
my guitars are; Gibson Sonex 180-custom,Ibanez RGx(hotrodded!), B.C.Rich Bich, Jhonson JH-480-N,J.R.Reynolds-jr-60-bl, Squire bullet, off brand telecaster.
Keyboard;Radio Shack Concertmate-990.
Amps; Crate GX-1200H full stack(120watts),Peavey Heritage VTX(212)rides atop an old marshall 4x12 and puts out an incredible 400watts!!!(MODIFIED). I also use a handfull of assorted small combos from 25watts all the way down to 9-volts.
