Jon O'Bergh

Known as the Jedi of Cool, keyboardist Jon O'Bergh refuses to be pigeonholed in one genre of music. He is adept in a variety of styles including electronic dance music, rock, jazz, funk - the list goes on.

I've released 13 albums in a variety of styles. My first release "Millennial Landscapes" reached #2 on the NAV Chart, and my follow-up release "Carta" reached #1. Between 2005 and 2009, I performed and recorded with the nu-jazz/funk/fusion band Gemini Soul.

My latest release, "Future World," draws on multiple influencesprogressive house, Kraftwerk, lounge, tribal house, pyschedelia, sci-fi. The blend of unusual voices and ear-catching effects suggests a future world both familiar and strange.

My keyboard is a Roland Fantom X8, and I record using Digital Performer.
