Jonny Tesco

Jonny Tesco, aka Long Sing NG. A Chinese who was born in Hong Kong. Currently living in Manchester in UK and struggling painfully in his final year in university. Songs are mainly just layers of accoustic guitar and my voice as this is only what i 've got with me.

i think what i am genuinely influenced by is never quite an influence in my song. They are more affected by the instruments that i used, they could have been electronic or synth-pop if i was given a synthesizer, a turntable instead of a handy accoustic guitar. My adolescence was spent mainly on those brit. pop names like Suede,Blur,Oasis. No difference to any other kids, the band who made me picked up guitar is Nirvana. As i grew up, more important name came into my life such as Japan, The Smith, Strangelove, Radiohead, Divine comedy, Kings of Convinence.

I use Fender Jaguar, but due to i am studying abroad, i left all my gears home but an accoustic guitar and an electric guitar for practise. so all the songs are simply just an accoustic guitar, and my voice using a web cam to do recording. The Mic that i had with me, is broken after it fell to the floor a couple times from the stand, now everything it records go mono only.

Still, these songs are at its early demo stage, one may find it difficult to listen clearly, it 's due to the quality of my web cam in which it 's been extensively used as mike during most of demo recording session. Note that the lyrics i sang in each songs are literally just crap, i just mumbled something out of my mouth without any thinking.
