Jonfrum is an enlightening three-piece of post-traumatic stress disorder genius. They write elevating songs about everyday life occurrences, like stalking and eventually killing former lovers (and then yourself afterwards), the heartwarming antics of children who grow up to be serial killers, and people who kill themselves when they decide to stop taking psychotropic medication without their doctors approval.

Flash back to 1973 - a baby cries in San Jose general Hospital. His mother says, oh look at his face. He looks so much like his father I think I'll call him the same thing. Idiot Pop was born.
Flash forward to 2002, now back to 1991, now back to 1973 - somewhere deep in the Minnesota wilderness Mrs. Jack was snowmobiling while 9 months pregnant. She wrecked her machine into a snowbank and out popped little John Jack. Her nipples were too cold to allow the milk to come through so she put a guitar pic in his mouth to keep him from crying until she was able to make it home that night.
Flash forward to 2008, now back again to 3106 B.C. - in the nasty, God awful land of heathens known as Sumaria there lived a barbarian of great stature with a big fucking sword and a really bad accent. One day when he was battling serpent demon priest thingies, he found this little boy that didn't have a home. Being a barbarian he didn't really understand the concept of parenting so he taught the boy to fetch and run along side his horse. The barbarian called him Spot. One day, when they were fighting this really huge spider in some ice-chamber type place, Spot fell into an endless hole. Well, it wasn't exactly endless... Eventually Spot came out the other side and landed on the Haight in San Francisco. He was all grown up and decided that he wanted a new name. A homeless junkie, extremely high on LSD, was wandering by and overheard his thoughts. That man said that Spot should change his name to Delfic and move to Seattle.
Minnesota proved to be too cold for John Jack. After hearing stories about the great job opportunities as security guards in Seattle, he too moved.
Idiot Pop was on his way to visit his cousin in Tenino and instead caught a Greyhound to Seattle. Suddenly the three of them came across each other, right there in the bus station, and Idiot Pop spoke out loud, "Are you guys in Nirvana or something? I heard this is Seattle."
Delfic bit him and John Jack disinfected the wound. They decided that they weren't actually in a band and should be, so they formed Jonfrum and The Big Death just incase anyone ever asked them if they were in a band again.Have you performed in front of an audience?February 15, 2003, Jonfrum Holy Day, during that illustrious period when God Almighty was conversing with our fine President most frequently, the three of us got together and performed for the public for the very first time. Before the night was over, we were upside down, right side up, and smelling like sulfur. It was a thrilling experience, including the fight that Delfic got into with the soundman. To put it into perspective I'll use the phrase John Jack said on that occasion - Jambox! Those twenty or so people that experienced the set will never be the same. Our live show keeps getting better and better each time. I just hope that Delfic doesn't loose all of his teeth by the time we go on tour.
