After twenty years of retirement from the music industry I have returned to expose some of the work I have been doing since I last appeared on stage. My path has taken me into the reality/lifestyle television world as an editor. I have been writing and playing music for over thirty years. I hope that by listing here I get a chance to make friends with others who are themselves playing music because they love to.
Band/artist history
I started in Montreal when I was 8 years old. I learned guitar and I stuck with it. By age 14 I was playing along side people like Michael St.Denis (Bob Segarini Band) and Pierre Durand (well known session guitarist in Quebec). I do not speak French all that well so I moved to Toronto when I was 19. I formed the band "Jules Hanon" and played with them until I was 23. I joined the band "The Normals" in 1982 and played with them for only 4 months. Then I got married. I formed the band "DeadBeat" in 1983 and we played for two years untill I left that band and formed "Varoshi Fame" which I was in for four years. I retired when I was 33 and I went back to my old friends in "Jules Hanon" with whom I still play to this day. We are three older men who know how to play well and we enjoy it. After I retired "Jules Hanon" played around town for a couple years and then we raised our families.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played live so many times I cannot even count. But the last time I was on a stage was in January 2006. My most memorable shows took place between 1982 and 1990 in Toronto. I did also enjoy playing in Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cleveland, Montreal and Ottawa during that time period.
