Jon Blaq is an amazingly diverse and talented emcee who is about to raise the bar in the hip hop game. After many years of recording experience, he has transformed himself into an extrodinary artist with real skills and witty lyricism. And unlike most artists, Blaq has developed a keen business sense in his field, which led to him becoming a member of Ascap in 2001, and starting his own publishing company, (DrtyInk Pub.) in 2002. Jon Blaq was born in Brooklyn, but raised as a native of Winston-Salem, NC, which he represents to the fullest. BlaQ has a lot to offer in the world of Hip Hop. From stories and heartfelt tales of his life to menacing battle rhymes and eye opening concepts, Jon Blaq proves to be anything but the average MC. From reigning as 102 Jamz "Freestyle Champion" for 2 months, to opening shows for some of Hip Hop's greatest, including the late Notorious BIG, Redman, Method Man, Keith Murray and the Boot Camp Click, it's obvious this cat has paid his dues and has the skills to back it up.
