I am a singer/songwriter from Shrewsbury,UK. I'm now 17 and have been writing, performing and recording for about four years. I play various instruments, however songwriting is my main passion.
Band/artist history
I have been writing and recording songs since about the age of 12. I have always had a real passion for guitar based music, and realised a long time ago that I wanted to be a musician. I have a repertoire of nearly 100 acoustic based songs, however only about 10% of them will ever see the light of day! I used to write a lot of songs for my band, and this is where i got the chance to to plug in & turn the volume up. Since recording my first ever song ("Stars") on a little tape recorder four years ago, I have wanted my music to reach a wider audience than just my friends and family, and I have been priviliged enough to have played numerous gigs in my short lifetime, and won two song-writing competitions. I am greatly inspired by my faith to write.

I play in clubs and venues in my local area.
Your musical influences
I'm into a wide variety of music. I love bands like Seafood, Bell X1, Willy Mason and Ed Harcourt, and it's a dream of mine to one day be mentioned in the same breath as such artists.

Hi Jonathan - Slip Away has a strong lyric and a good feel to the progression. Would like to hear this one rock in a more uptempo version, either throughout or kicking it up at the end to the first chorus.
